Put Your Back Into It:
Shoulder Use in Context

March 8, 15, 22, 29

For the next four weeks, we will focus on integrating
our shoulders with our back and base of support for maximum freedom.

To deepen exploration and integration across the series, each lesson will move to a different position: back-lying, front lying, side-lying, and seated.

About the class

This class uses gentle, mindful movement and play to explore and expand your sense of self. Enter the week feeling grounded physically and emotionally, ready to encounter others with ease and confidence.

Each session will consist of a classic Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) lesson that serves as an introduction to the Feldenkrais Method®, including a short explanation of the principles involved. These inwardly-focused lessons will be combined with short, simple acting games that help you bring this new sense of self into personal and working relationships.

Our ability to recover
is our greatest quality.
